We incubate communities through housing Eagle Hill Neighborhood Association, AA, Mendelssohn Choir, Pakistani Fellowship, a Buddhist Faith and an Apostolic Church.

Our Won’t You Be Our Neighbor ministry serves the community & neighborhood directly, including specific support for homeless & hunger ministries: Love Bags, Interfaith Food Pantry, Crop Walk, Equinox, Adopt-a-Family Christmas Ministry, Nourish Your Neighbor, and St. Pauly’s Clothing Shed.

A “Bigger On the Inside” Church, we sponsor a number of local ministries including: Our Community Farmer’s Market, Our Weekly Playgroup, Our Local Nursery School, TrailPraisers Inclusive Worship Community for those of all abilities, and Our Knitting Ministry for those who are sick and suffering, and provide space for the community to gather together.

Staff

Pastor Katy Stenta has been the pastor at New Covenant since 2010. She has three children Franklin, Westley and Ashburn and her husband Anthony is a public Librarian. She has a passion for the neighborhood and the community and reading fiction. She writes liturgy at http://www.katyandtheword.com.

Susan Ludwig has been the caring and wonderful secretary at New Covenant for over 5 years. She is currently working from home.

Roger Held has been our extremely talented Organist and Choir Director for 15 years

Rose Sorbas has been our hardworking and amazing Custodian for over 3 years.
